Satin-Spar Selenite: The Healing Crystal of the Future

Satin-Spar Selenite is a little-known and under-utilized crystal that contains all of the positive qualities of quartz crystal healing power and protection without any negative qualities. In mythology it is said to have been a major healing tool, record keeper, and energy generator in Atlantis, and whether you believe in Atlantis or not, there is no denying its power. I have no doubt that this is the healing crystal of the future.
Selenite does not take to being processed like other healing crystals. In fact, the least bit of "over-processing" renders it pretty well inert. Additionally, it loses its potency if it is harshly mined. This, however, is a good thing. Such mineral sensitivity is what makes it an amazing healing tool when properly chosen and fashioned.
Properly chosen Selenite releases negative energies naturally and continually (unlike most healing crystals that retain negative energies) further, it is powerful enough to clear and reprogram quartz and other sacred objects. It goes to the source of physical and emotional disorders, and provides insights into probable causes. Its unique ability to connect and balance the spiritual and physical bodies enables Selenite to do similar work between two persons, as well. Working with the subtle bodies, Selenite leads one to the area most in need of clearing and balancing.
How to choose Satin-Spar Selenite
All Selenite is not created equal. In fact, no two specimens are alike in power or healing qualities. I have found that the best quality Satin-Spar is mined gently with good intent and processed minimally or not at all. The best way to choose your own is to pick it up and hold it for some time. You can feel its energy. I warn you that it is not easy to find great specimens. I buy huge logs from a reputable supplier, and many do not become healing tools. Trust your intuition when choosing it will not steer you wrong.
Uses for Satin-Spar Selenite
- Place one or more pieces of energized Satin-Spar Selenite on painful areas of the body to give relief. Selenite pulls anything negative from where it sits.
- For stress, anxiety, or grief, hold one or more pieces to your heart for a few minutes while breathing deeply. You will feel an opening of your heart chakra, buzzing, and/or a release of negativity. Just holding a piece or two in your hands is enough for many people to calm and soothe even severe emotional distress.
- Create a grid of protection with Satin-Spar like you would with quartz crystals, surrounding anybody or anything.
- Lie down and place one piece of energized Selenite on each of 7 chakras (root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third-eye, and crown) and hold one piece in each hand. Shortly you will feel that you are being bathed in your version of “Light." In this state you will ground and feel peace after a short while. Additionally, your vibration/frequency will rise from using it this way. Alternately, you can place the pieces on your back chakras for a completely different yet effective methodology.
- Energy and Light workers can use a wand to spot imbalances by scanning it above a client's energy field. In my experience, Selenite actually stops at imbalances, blocks, or cords as I scan.
- Energy and Light workers can use wands to enhance and amplify client healing processes.
- Place any crystal or sacred object on top of a piece of Satin-Spar, and the Selenite will clean any energies present and recharge them. To reprogram crystals or other sacred objects, just visualize how you want the energy of your crystal or stone to perform.
- Rub a Selenite wand in an outward direction with two or three fingers with the intent of contacting your Guides or subconscious. At the same time visualize and ask to contact a guide. Selenite acts as a bridge to other worlds.
- Using the same rubbing technique, ask your Selenite for passage to particular areas of knowledge. Many times that knowledge is given to you in dreaming or while astral traveling.

i was out exploring with my family when i ran across a bed of these crystals. there was a few pieces that caught my eye so i colleted them. i came home and researched them on the internet. i have always asked for some thing like this. the last sone i found was metalic siver that easily broke apart with a hard center containing purple and pink gems. beautiful.
